Vape Coil reorder point maths — a playbook
Vape Coil sits in a crowded price band, and the cheapest quote on the sheet is rarely the cheapest unit on your shelf. Everything below is built around reorder rate, defect rate and cash conversion rather than headline unit price.

Transit, consolidation and timing
This page is for first-time buyers who want a working answer on specification, price and lead time before they commit a purchase order. We have written the detail down so nobody has to sit through a sales call to extract it.
Freight on vape coils is driven by volume more than weight. Cartons are designed to hit a clean pallet count, which is why a slightly denser pack can cut your landed cost by more than a discount on the unit price ever would.
Damage in transit is nearly always a packing decision, not bad luck. Double-walled cartons, internal dividers and a drop-tested configuration cost a little more and save the argument at the other end.
Reading a quotation properly
Freight is quoted separately and honestly. Bundling it into the unit price looks tidy and hides the one line that changes most often between shipments.
We publish a realistic band of 0.57 to 2.33 per unit for standard configurations at 50 units. Below that band you are buying a lighter specification; above it you are paying for finish, packaging or a smaller run.
Merchandising a small range well
Counter space is finite. Three well-chosen SKUs outsell nine crowded ones, and the empty space signals a curated range rather than a clearance table.
Bundle a device with a consumable and the reorder rhythm changes from occasional to weekly. That single merchandising decision often does more for monthly revenue than a price promotion.

What we test before a carton is sealed
A 0.5 percent defect rate sounds excellent until it lands on a 600 unit order and you are handling three returns in a week. We quote realistic rates per category and we credit in advance for the known failure modes.
Leak complaints almost always trace back to one of three things: an over-torqued centre post, a seal that sat in a hot container, or a fill volume pushed past the design limit. We cap fill volume slightly below maximum for exactly that reason.

Frequently asked
What happens if part of the order is defective?
Report within seven days with photos and the batch code. Confirmed defects are replaced or credited on the next shipment. The failure is logged by mode and batch, and reviewed monthly with the factory.
How do you handle repeat orders?
The specification is held on file against your account, so a reorder is a reference rather than a new brief. We recommend a standing schedule with a fixed weekly cut-off so stock lands before the shelf empties.
How long does production take?
Around 25 working days after artwork approval for stock configurations, plus transit. Custom runs add roughly a week for tooling and a physical dummy. We confirm the date in writing on the order acknowledgement.
