Vape Coil leak test: checklist
A vape coil programme only works when three numbers agree: your shelf price, your reorder cycle and your defect tolerance. Change one and the plan moves. We build assortments around those three and we say so up front rather than after the invoice.

The reorder is the real test
Buyers come to us for vape coil after a bad quarter: dead stock on one side, empty shelves on the other. The cause is usually the same, an assortment built from a catalogue instead of from sell-through data. This page explains how we rebuild that balance for first-time buyers.
For private label accounts we hold the artwork files and the approval record. Rebranding a line eighteen months later is then a file update instead of a redesign.
We keep the specification sheet for every order on file. Two years later, when a customer asks whether a pod is compatible, the answer is a lookup rather than a guess.
Paperwork, labelling and market rules
Regulation for vape coils differs by country and sometimes by state. We do not pretend to be your lawyer, but we do keep the document pack current and we will tell you when a configuration cannot legally enter a market you have named.
We keep batch codes traceable from carton to production date. When a market authority asks for traceability, a supplier who cannot produce it in an hour becomes a liability very quickly.
Choosing the core line
Colour range is where assortments quietly die. Six finishes look impressive in a brochure and disastrous on a shelf with 40 cm of space. We recommend two finishes per core SKU and let the trial line carry the novelty.
We source vape coils from a small group of factories we have worked with for years. That means a specification can be held across repeat orders instead of being re-qualified from scratch every quarter. Consistency is a boring selling point and it is also the entire game.
- Artwork proof plus physical dummy for custom packaging
- Cartons drop-tested and pallet-counted for clean freight
- Document pack prepared per destination market
- Mixed SKU cartons to spread first-order risk
- Batch codes traceable from carton back to production date
- Named account contact who has handled the product
Where the margin really sits
We publish a realistic band of 0.58 to 2.31 per unit for standard configurations at 100 units. Below that band you are buying a lighter specification; above it you are paying for finish, packaging or a smaller run.
The cheapest way to lower your cost per unit is usually to remove a SKU, not to negotiate a discount. Fewer lines means larger runs, fewer changeovers and a better price at the same quality.
Specification summary
| Resistance | 0.60 ohm |
| Build | Mesh |
| Wicking | Cotton bacon |
| Fitment | Threaded |
| Pack size | 3 per pack |
| Compatibility | Brand-specific |
| Minimum order | 50 units per SKU, mixed cartons allowed |
| Lead time | 22 working days after artwork approval |
We would rather lose an order at quotation stage than explain a mismatch after delivery, which is why the specification conversation comes before the price conversation.
Frequently asked
Can you ship to multiple locations?
Yes. Split shipments are quoted separately because consolidation and splitting price differently. Tell us the destination list at quotation stage and we will show both options.
What documents come with a shipment?
Commercial invoice, packing list, and the certificate pack for your market: test reports, declaration of conformity and safety data sheets. We send scans before dispatch so your broker can pre-clear the file.
How do you handle repeat orders?
The specification is held on file against your account, so a reorder is a reference rather than a new brief. We recommend a standing schedule with a fixed weekly cut-off so stock lands before the shelf empties.
