Sourcing Vape Coil: bulk vs split shipment strategy
Buyers come to us for vape coil after a bad quarter: dead stock on one side, empty shelves on the other. The cause is usually the same, an assortment built from a catalogue instead of from sell-through data. This page explains how we rebuild that balance for first-time buyers.

How we structure a first order
Vape Coil is a specification decision before it is a price decision. Get the resistance, the capacity and the packaging right and the price conversation becomes short. Get them wrong and no discount will rescue the order.
When you compare suppliers for vape coil, ask for the last three production dates on the same SKU. If the answers are vague, the specification is not being held and the next batch will not match the sample you approved.
A practical starting order for first-time buyers is 500 units across two or three SKUs, not 500 units of one. That spreads the risk, gives your staff something to compare, and still hits the first price break.
Sell-through notes for the shop floor
Shelf position decides velocity as much as price. Keep vape coils at eye level, one facing per SKU, and rotate the trial line every quarter so the display keeps earning attention.
Counter space is finite. Three well-chosen SKUs outsell nine crowded ones, and the empty space signals a curated range rather than a clearance table.
Unit price versus landed cost
We publish a realistic band of 0.61 to 2.58 per unit for standard configurations at 500 units. Below that band you are buying a lighter specification; above it you are paying for finish, packaging or a smaller run.
Unit price breaks usually land at 500, 1000 and 2000 pieces. Between those steps the cost curve flattens, which is why pushing a 200 unit order to 500 often costs less per unit than buyers expect.
- Cartons drop-tested and pallet-counted for clean freight
- Consolidated or split shipping, quoted both ways
- Reference sample retained from every batch
- Batch codes traceable from carton back to production date
- Named account contact who has handled the product
- Seven-day defect reporting with replace-or-credit
Quality control, in plain terms
Flavour drift between batches is the quiet killer of repeat orders. We retain a sealed reference sample from every run so a complaint six weeks later can be compared against what actually left the building.
A 0.5 percent defect rate sounds excellent until it lands on a 600 unit order and you are handling three returns in a week. We quote realistic rates per category and we credit in advance for the known failure modes.
Specification summary
| Resistance | 0.60 ohm |
| Build | Single wire |
| Wicking | Organic cotton |
| Fitment | Threaded |
| Pack size | 5 per pack |
| Compatibility | Brand-specific |
| Minimum order | 200 units per SKU, mixed cartons allowed |
| Lead time | 18 working days after artwork approval |
We would rather lose an order at quotation stage than explain a mismatch after delivery, which is why the specification conversation comes before the price conversation.
Frequently asked
Can we order samples before committing?
Yes. Sample orders are shipped by air express and the cost is credited against your first production order above 500 units. We would rather you handle the sample than approve a specification from a photograph.
How do you handle repeat orders?
The specification is held on file against your account, so a reorder is a reference rather than a new brief. We recommend a standing schedule with a fixed weekly cut-off so stock lands before the shelf empties.
Do you support private label?
We do. Send your artwork or your brand direction and we will return a digital proof, then a physical dummy for colour approval. Packaging files stay on record so a rebrand later is a file update rather than a redesign.
